An Atlantic City casino regular has kicked up a stink after being asked to leave because of his offensive body odour.
Michael Wax, a regular at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, had been playing for 17 hours when he took a trip to the restroom. Wax claims he was approached by the manager of a Poker room, and told his body odour was offending other customers, and that they were complaining.
The 440-pound New Yorker attempted to return to his seat to continue playing but was refused to be allowed to play. Wax claims he then asked to use a spare room ‘to freshen up’ but this again was refused by casino managers.
Wax admitted to casino officials that the smell was indeed offensive “There’s no question I stink. I’m not denying it. I do have an odor. I’ve been playing for 17 hours.” The 54 year old limousine driver understands that other customers were displeased by his odour but feels that the casino’s treatment was unnecessary and that they caused him distress by telling him he smelt in front of other customers.
Wax was left fuming and promptly filed an official complaint with the Casino Control Commission. He is waiting to hear the results of whether the casino has broken any of the gambling laws. When asked why he didn’t just start playing at another casino, Wax maintains he likes gambling at the Borgata and doesn’t want to play somewhere else. A spokesperson for the Borgata refused to comment, stating that it is company policy not to discuss matters involving customers. Mr. Wax isn’t holding a grudge but is simply saying “I would like an apology”

Sport betting is an occasional pastime of mine. In my younger days it was horse racing, but these days I tend to stick to soccer. My latest win was for Manchester United and Chelsea to draw on 21st September, when £5 netted me a further £5 in a bet with a friend. Had I made the bet in a bookmaker’s shop or by online betting, I may have made more.
When betting on football I am more likely to bet on an accumulator (i.e. a fixed stake where the winnings carry over to the next result); this can result in a tidy win as I usually pick 8 to 10 matches. However it can also leave one with some disappointing ‘might have beens.’
A while ago I had a bet on 8 European teams and got seven results up on a Saturday. My last match was Santander v Real Madrid on Sunday. Madrid were 1/4 favourites and a win would pay £2500. Santander thrashed them.
Easy come, easy go. A permutation on this bet would have been wise.

Lots of couple look for inventive ways to get married. Just last week a couple married 10,000 feet in the air on the wing of an aircraft. But a couple from America take the crazy crown as they had an entirely Star Wars themed wedding, right down to having Yoda conduct the ceremony.
Yoda’s marriage license was said to have been obtained on the Internet just days before the service.
Other guests in attendence included Darth Vadar, Admiral Ackbar and Queen Amidala. The couple walked down the aisle following the service through a guard of Imperial Stormtroopers.
